Comments:

Well, did fine until the end of the 200 then I was boxed in - I had a slow swimmer on the left and one slow in front - I could not pass - I started to get pissed but then just figured ride it out - I could have come in at 5:45 on the swim easy, well next time
What would you do differently?:

I thought about busting a move in front of the guy to my left and blow by him

Comments:

Well - everything was fine until the last part of the second loop - I got caught behind a Tahoe that turned before me - the cop said sorry - the issue was a very slow rider in front of the Tahoe and me behind - could not pass since cars were coming from the other lane - another rider and me just had to ride behind the damn car - about 12 mile per hour - final on the last turn the other rider and I busted out and moved.
What would you do differently?:

Well beside not getting stuck behind the car, could have cut a minute or two. I can't get made the - officer did the best he could.

Comments:

Great - felt good again
What would you do differently?:

None - could have got my shoes on faster but - no complaints

  • 10m 08s  min/mile
Comments:

Well, my run I really did not care - since I have been battling Plantar and have not run for 4 weeks, so did fine
What would you do differently?:

Hopeful the Plantar will go away and I can crank on the run
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and talked with friends from the North Dallas Tri group

What limited your ability to perform faster:

just my foot - felt good on the bike and swim

Event comments:

Great race -

Nice race. Too bad you had time-hindering occurrences on both the swim and bike. Did you give either of the swimmers the obligatory "get-the-hell-outta-the-way" foot tap? When that doesn't work, I usually upgrade to the ankle grab. If nothing else, the big gulp of water they take in slows them down enough so that you can pass. LOL.

nice job out there.. as I was coming back in for the run I saw a volunteer actually stopping the bikes to let one car out of a side street,, I attempted to yell that it's a race and one car can wait but I doubt it made any sense
