Pre-race routine:

light breakfast a couple hours before the 7:30 start. Hung out at the finish line where I would be a volunteer after my race

The weather was perfect for running. My time was a PR for me which surprised me because I decded to do this race just a few days ago

walked around and stretched a little

Event comments:

It was great to have marathon,half marathon,5k, and children's race start and finish in downtown Greensboro.Children's race was fun to watch in our downtown baseball stadium right next to the finish line.
Setup Events did an awesome job as race coordinators. Foster Friends also did awesome pulling together over 500 volunteers.
The four different racves attracted around 1500 runners. Not bad for an event that only came together about 9 months ago. I predict we have 3000 at this event next year
