Somebody please talk to me about these hills I'm reading about.  Just how hilly is hilly?  Where are they?  How many?  Manageable?  (I'm a flats kinda woman ... Athena ... you know, slow & everything).  Here I thought I was gittin a break with a lake swim and then ... aargh ... I read about Hills.

 Thanks guys.  See you there!

I have not been there for the race but I have been to Disney many many times, it is Florida. How bad can the hills really be? You live in Ohio which is probably far more hilly than Florida. You will do fine.

The hills are in the middle-ish section of the bike course, after you have left Disney property and you're riding through some rural roads with Orange groves, plant nurseries, golf courses, etc. They are short rollers, with 1 or 2 longer climbs that might take a couple minutes. Overall, very manageable just put it in an easy gear and spin your way up. Maybe 10 - 15 miles of rollers and the rest is relatively flat.

It's not going to be the hills it's going to end up being the wind.  Seems like it's in your face no matter which way you are going.

It's not going to be the wind, it's going to be the heat.   Seems like it's beating down on your head now matter which way you are going
