Are there going to be any BTers at either one?

I am planning on the Niketown 5k, and then depending on how late I am up on Saturday, may run over to Kirkland for their 5k...

My mom and sis wanted to do Kirkland, but I just HATE paying for 5k races since I run so much already and know how fast I run etc. Plus their shirts were ugly last year!  hehe.  Really, it was a fun race, big hill about 3/4 of a mile into it.  They've been heavily promoting this race (and their newly designed shirts) so it will be crowded there.  It was my first 5k when I ran it last year, and I haven't stopped running ever since!  Good luck in one or both runs!

As further proof of my invisibility...my results did not register at the Niketown. I am following up with the race directors to see what happened, but it looks like I was never there!

I guess that is a good thing since i am so out of shape it took me almost 28 minutes! Horrible!

I ran the 3.58 miles in the St. Patrick's Day Dash FASTER!

Boo! I really really need to focus!

And, if I recall you're really strong on the bike, whereas I am slow......very slow!

So, they found my results...which were even worse than I thought! 28:16! That is the EXACT same time I ran two months ago in the St. Pat's Dash -- and that's 1/2 mile more!

Don't stress.  You ran it and that's a fine time!  It's hard to compare one race to another based on so many factors....weather, route, crowd, timing company, food, apparel, and gravity!  You did great!
