Swim
Comments: I've improved on the swim greatly. I remembered to start my watch this time. Stayed with the main group. Had to adjust my speed a little to draft some. Got a little off course a couple of times ran into the same lady about 3 times. Had a little bit of trouble with water in the goggles. Exited the water at a good depth, was able to run out. What would you do differently?: get better seal on goggles. Take the inside postion so it's more of a straight shot. Really, I have no complaints Transition 1
Comments: I did pretty good. Faster than last year. I didn't practice prior to the race, but everything went smooth. What would you do differently?: Yanks... and velcro bike shoes. Bike
Comments: I knew I was unprepared for the bike. I actually did a little better than I expected. It's nice to start in the last wave and have all kinds of people to pass. Need had 2/3 gatoraid in water bottle.Need 50/50 mix. What would you do differently?: train more on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: I did dismount too early, ran the last 75 to 100 meters. What would you do differently?: Dismount in proper area. Run
Comments: went faster than it felt. After the bike my legs felt a little shot. I didn't do any bricks in training. What would you do differently?: Do bricks in training Post race

Age Group = Novice
Age Group Rank = 9/26
not much of a routine, only my second tri. I just sucked in the atmosphere and got my transition area ready. I did have a granola bar and an apple before the race. I also nursed my gatorade.
NONE... the swim is my warm up.
