Subject: Mtn Lakes?

Hi Renee!

You mentioned Mountain Lakes and someone (maybe you) had posted about swims up there previously - is there information about that somewhere?  What are the details.  I think it is a distance from me but I am interested in whatever wet opportunities are there.

Yes, see next thread about OW swims in NJ. Runnerx(sorry not exact) and I posted back and forth about swimming off rte 46. I have not been there yet but am looking to go in the early am before work.

thx renee - found the web reference in the other tread - sorry didnt notice it sooner!

good to know of another opp - I wish at least one of them was less than an hour away!

I hope to do CGI tomorrow and maybe one of the shore ones next week.

Heard there is a group going to Mt Lakes this Friday morning.  Meeting at Island Beach 5:50 a.m. in the water at 6. (Island beach is off The Boulvard, off Rt 46)

I just moved to Parsippany and found out that there's open water swimming at Mt. Lakes. Any info on this? How do I get to the area? What times? Any regular times? Any help w/ this would be great! Thanks...
