???, I still think I need to figure the best way to run a 5K, for me. Go out fast or maybe a little slower and then speed up.

I say go out a bit slower then put the hammer down! Very nice race and they usually have good post race food.

I think it is clear how you should run your 5K races.  Take out the first mile faster, say maybe 30 seconds, then just sprint to the finish.
