I had poractiuced without socks, so I jsut threw soem water on my feet nad grabbed my shoees..the left one got caught under my heel, but I fixed it fast and ran out. Although I had issues mounting..but finally got on and started riding. A friend was coming out of T1 at the same time and someone told him he forgot his helmet and he said he didn't have one. Comments:

Awesome transition. I love taking my shoes off on he bike so i can jsut rack and throw my runnign shoes on. I have a freindthat races and we are so similar in our times, but she is a bit faster on the bike, so she always beats me at races by 30-45 seconds..but now that i take my feet out of my shoes on the bike, I pass her in transtion. Yay!
What would you do differently?:

nothing..great t2
Run

Comments:

I felt good on the run, saw soem friends cheering me on (I could hear them say htat I looked in good shape on the run) For hte last 100 yds i ran as hard as I could since I could hear feet running behind men and i wasn't sure if htey ere in my age group
Post race
Warm down:

walked aound and saw friends and family. Waited for my niece and nephews kids race to start!

My 7 year old niece and 6 year old nephew did a 50 yd dash, 1 mile bike and 50 yd sprint again. They did so great and had a blasty (well expect my niece had a belly ache half way thru the bike and didn't want to finish the run, but my sister carried her to the finsh line and she walked thru)

Event comments:

I like this race, its close to home and always a fun time. Oh and I beat my friend this race by 1:35...yay!!! (not that i race to beat her, but it still felt good)

Awesome job Jamie.  That a pretty good pace on the bike for you.  Especially with having a headwind on the way back in.
