Went out conservative, 8:14 first mile, 8:43 second, 8:24 third, and sprinted the final couple hundred yards.

Try negative splitting.

Didn't really warm down, grabbed some water and walked around.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not knowing the course, could have been in better shape

Event comments:

Good time overall. I am very happy with this race and my time!! I hoped to break 30 minutes and beat my 10 year old time of 27 minutes.
