Other than the rain it was great! Got to meet hazmaster and his wife Carrie <sp> Also meet ultramike who I didn't know was a member here. Actually had dinner with them Sat. night. Fun time lots of laughs.

Woke up at 4am to heavy over cast and threatening rain. An hour later the rain became reality and gradually increased in intensity till about 10:00 After that it was actually good race conditions.

I'm not one for race reports but I'll see if I can make an exception.

Great weekend..it was strange though...VancityJ wanted to get together for a party in  Oliver...then he ditched us!?!?  Great time though, not sure if I've ever raced with so many BT'ers at the same time - peby, Derek, Vancity, Ultramike and me! Great race, even though the rain made it hard to draft!

UMMMM....EXCUSE ME!!! I didn't ditch you guys! I waited at transition from 4 until 4:45 where I went to the pre-race meeting with my wife. I had plans from a while ago to go out to dinner to the Toasted Oak, that's why I never replied that I wanted to do dinner that night. Not to mention that you all went to the restaurant 20 mins before I even left the meeting! I think overall for us it was just a busy couple of days not getting there until Saturday mid-day and having to get all the race stuff together.

Good weekend otherwise though, always love a reason to get to the Okanagan.

peby - sorry didn't get to meet you - maybe next time?

Once again I was happy with the swim and my ride( thanks to Dan and Ronin) but the wheels fell off and I sucked on the run. Back to the drawing board! Overall had fun and met lots of great people. No flats this time! Look forward to cheering on Dan and Ronin June 22 down south from the side of the road with some good tunes and a box of ice cold beer!
