Comments: Wow, my pace was just insane! I've never run that fast over this distance. A PB for sure! I looked down at my watch about half way into the first mile and it showed a sub 8min pace; I couldn't believe it, but my legs kept it going. I kept wondering when the wheels would fall off. I guess it happened in the third mile, and then it was all about just holding on during the last, ALL UPHILL mile. That was hard! I never passed a single runner! Still, this is a PB at this distance by far! Good fun! What would you do differently?: pace myself better? Post race
Warm down: walked, stretched, talked to a few people. Mr Kinetic was sitting on the curb looking pretty tired; said he'd had a good race. What limited your ability to perform faster: I exceeded all my expectations, what more could I do?!? Event comments: very well organized, right on time. I'll definitely look to do more races in this series. Last updated: 2008-03-12 12:00 AM

up at 6:30. Washed up, figured out what to wear. Yogurt smoothie for a pre-race snack. Got everything together and then headed over.
Registered; walked; stretched; talked to a guy in a Kinetic Triathlon t-shirt. Seems that he liked the cold rainy weather; said that it was better than it being too hot.
