Subject: Need A Basic Watch
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a watch that has a feature where you could set it to beep at certain intervals? Is there such a thing? I had one with a timer, but I'm looking for something that would beep every 2 minutes or every three minutes so I could do some interval training. Maybe I could get something that has some other basic features that I can work into. Any suggestions?

You could try an HRM (see http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=... for ideas).

I use one of the Timex Ironman watches, I think it is the 50 lap version, about $35 or so at Target. They have cheaper versions w/less laps. I think it has some funky variable interval settings, but the standard timer can usually be set to repeat itself. I think you need to set it on the CDR (CountDownReturn) setting, instead of the CDS (CountDownStop) or CDC (CountDownCountup). Your watch may already do that!
