Final Hawk Island Thread :)

Ok people, I was just out at Hawk Island about an hour ago, and here's my final thoughts about tomorrow.

- Get there early
There's not a huge amount of parking available, and if you're a beginner, (like me), there's a beginner's meeting at 7. I'm planning on getting there at 6:30ish

- Wetsuits
I did a OWS today at Hawk Island, and the water is not warm. However, it is definatly doable without a wetsuit. I spoke to several paople there who are racing tomrrow, and it seems about 50/50 for people wearing or not wearing a wetsuit. I'm planning on wearing my tri shorts and a short tri top, then throwing on a bike jersey at T1.

- Course
Take a look at the bike course for tomorrow, there isn't a map in the info they give you when you check in. I did the course last week, (though it's changed slightly), and it's a great ride. The run course is very nice, shaded and mostly paved, very flat.

- Other thoughts
This race seems like a lot of fun, and seems to be a good mix of participants. I'm excited!!
