 Swim
Comments: This was my longest swim of the year. I was surprised by my swim results. I expected a time closer to 30:00 but the wetsuit really helped. What would you do differently?: Train More!  Transition 1
Comments: Took it easy.  Bike
Comments: This was my longest bike ride of the year. I had figured a 21 mph average, but I'll take darn near 22 at this point. What would you do differently?: Ride more. Transition 2
Comments: Again, took it easy.  Run
Comments: I had expected better here, but I suspect that my lack of bike training took it's toll here. I was shooting for a 7:45 pace. What would you do differently?: Bike more. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training. This was a C race on my schedule and I gave serious thought to not competing due to my lack of training. I am glad I went. My attitude was that this was going to be a long training day and that is exactly what I had. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I know that I am capable of a much better performance, but I also know that my training has limited me up until this point. I have more than a month and a half until my next scheduled race and a month until my next possible race. This is plenty of time to get into a routine.
