Subject: Garmin 305 Tech Questions

1. My GPS couldn't connect to Satellites last night, even though I was in an open field with few trees.  I didn't see any major power lines around.  Should I have reset the watch, or was I just in a bad spot?

2. Last week, I forgot to program a workout as Multisport before  I started.  I see that I could move the entire workout into a different sports (from bike to run, vice versa), but isn't there a way to change the sports on individual laps already completed?

Thanks for your help!

For #1, I'm guess you should have just reset the Garmin.  Probably around 5% of the time mine won't get the satellites right outside my front door.  Other times it will find them in 10 seconds.  I just turn it off and turn it back on, and its fine.

For #2, I don't think there is a way to change the laps in the Garmin itself, but I could be wrong.  If you use the training center software or SportsTracks (recommended!) I believe you can divide the workout into separate sections.

I know on the garmin training center on a mac you can't change the laps, ,but I believe I have done it on my dell in the training center.. once you highlight that particular lap you can change the workout
