Yeah. That run sucked...but the entire race was golden. You rocked the swim and flew during the ride. That isn't an average speed, that is the max speed most people reach!

You knew you would be challenged by the run, all things considered and that thought, along with your overanalyzing the last minute post bike drink probably didn't help.

But, there is no shame in these results Kevin! Hold your head up high and smile. After so much apprehension, you proved again that you are a triathlete!

Did you wear your onezie?

Great on the boys to chip in. That is really cool. Now get them some calamine lotion.

Great race report, it was fun to read!

Great job out there, Kev!  Top 3 on the swim and #1 on the bike!!  I'm sorry the run sucked but you do need to be careful with the knees and keep in mind that there was a time, not so long ago, when you couldn't run much at all.  Just think about how far you've come since then by listening to your body and being smart about the training.  Keep it up and that run will be right where you want it

Congratulations on doing this race knowing that you'd have a hard time running! Great swim and the bike - well, we know you rock there. I could have been also, that you pushed a bit too hard on the swim and bike... specally in the heat it sure took some some toll on you. Another good experience and few lessons learned!

Enjoyed the Race Report too!

Great swim and bike... take care of those knees - they are the only ones we get.

I foresee an areo bar purchase in the near future!

Listen to the frog...sage advice (sage green actually).

Great placement, Clydesdale! You've come a long way...I still can't get over those average bike speeds. The whole course was downhill right?

Fantastic race mate

I am a bit scared thinking about what you could have done on the bike had you pushed it !!!

Maybe it was a “good” thing you got problems with your gut. Had you been able to run the whole time it could have hurt your knees.

Overall you are a strong competitor and once you get those knees back into running mode, I am glad I don’t have to compete against you
