Swim
Comments: Good swim. I did my first OLY the day before so I was worried I might be a little tight. My wave was Relays and Females under 34. First I have to say that the women are waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy harder to swim with than the guys. I find that the guys just swim and that's all. I spent the first 400 getting pounded-hit, kicked, and hit some more. I have no idea why I thought that the women would have less contact but I was wrong. I didn't really find my stroke until I hit the turn towards home. As I swam I found myself thinking... wow this is long lol. It was cool as I got near the beach and when I came up to breathe I could hear the screaming and the cowbells but when I went down it was silent again. Just a cool feeling. I got up and ran up the beach to Kathy who took off on the bike. Then I saw D.K. so I went and chatted and watched some other swimmers come in. After we went out to the road with KevinG and cheered on the athletes. I got a blister from too much cowbell! What would you do differently?: Nothing it was a lot of fun. Transition 1
