What would you do differently?:

Same as in prior races....
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around getting water and food
Has a short massage in the AATC tent

Event comments:

Turned out to be number 5 out of 22 Clydesdales under 40...
The run is REALLY tough, and of course that is my worst discipline. But I will come back!

I am "legally fat" alright (I may say that..;-), but if my weight keeps coming down like the last few weeks and months I will have lost that status by the Steelhead ...yeah!!!

That will hopefully help me on those runs! So far, every race I did this season was on trails, and Clydesdales are just not made for hills. Show me a piece of flat road: I will pick up momentum and then just keep rolling;-)

BTW, sorry about the "infamous", you seemed to be somewhat worked up over that, so I looked it up... I have two excuses:
1. Sunday morning was just awful, having forgotten my photo ID, racing back home and getting in at 7.25am... had I not been in the Clydesdale wave, I would have not made it
2. As a non-native speaker I actually thought "infamous" to have a more positive connotation, with a portion of admiration... must have been wrong, sorry!

NO, no offense taken at all. Thought it was humorous. After you hang out with me a little longer you'll learn that I don't embarrass or feel offended  much.  It's all good. I was laughing because you looked afraid.... That I understand!
