Up early, 2 pieces of toast with PB&J. Had a Power Bar 30 minutes before the gun

Comments:

My swim still sucks!!! Had a hard time sighting and getting into a rhythm on the way out. Also, there was a long uphill run from the swim exit to the transition area, which is reflected in the time.

Kind of pricey. I only decided to race a couple days before, but it ended op costing me $96 with the active.com fees.

Nice job! You definitely passed me on the bike. I think everyone did. =-P

I would also estimate the swim course around 1000 meters...otherwise I'm a lot slower than I thought I was.

The hill after the swim was really really rough.....I tried to run up the whole time, but I just had to walk for about 40 feet in the middle there. Glad to see you had a PR! I too had PR's, but I only have 1 race to compare against and I had only been in CO at altitude for a week before I raced. So my goal was to just be better than last time.
