My plan calls for 17.5 hours and 280 miles so lets just round it up to 300 miles

Cat,

Let me enter 10 stages and 250 miles for a goal. That will be challenging, yet doable unless my doctor tells me to back off. Thanks for doing this!!

cat

can you please change my goal. more reasonable would be 8 hours in 12 stages. would that be ok? otherwise it would be just too much of biking in heat... temp now around 45celsius...

a

No problem! FWIW... 45 - ouch!!! Ive experienced that a couple of times in summers here and I would not be doing ANYTHING in it!

well, it will be cooler later. much later. in november...

Bripod - 2008-07-03 8:07 PM In may I rode 257 mi., in June I rode 232. Is it too late to sign up for 300, with 28 already on the books? I'd like to be on El Flaco's team if at all possible, I like to give him a swift kick in the pants almost every other day to get his butt in gear! Oh- I guess I didn't understand the stages thing. Is that how many rides you are planning for the month? In that case, I'll say 11 stages. Is that legal? Somebody help...

to make it simple - stage equals training session. days for the challenge are tour de france days. pick any number of biking days and a come up with distance/time and voila.

f.e. 11 days of training and 300 miles between 5th and 27th. capice

I'm soooo in! 9 stages and 500 km for the month for me.

Thanks Cat!

Hello Super Cat,

There's been a slight miscalculation in the number of stages.  I'd like to change that number from 9 to 11.

The total number of km's remains the same.

Thanks for putting this together!

oh, well in that case make it 250 [Have a 50-miler on July 4, wish I could count that!] and keep it at 11. Two sprint tris on the 26th & 27th will only give me 24 combined miles those days so I'll need as many stages as I can get! The rest of the mileage divided by 9 stages will keep me at an honest 25 mi. per stage.

Figured it was about time I pop back into this thread and actually post some goals.  How the heck is it July already?  Put me down for 9 stages, 720 minutes.
