lyssa-gator - 2008-06-30 11:59 AM cat, is it too late to bail out? i'm sorry, i was SSSOOOOO looking forward to this challenge, but i STILL have no new bike, and it's sort of sucked all the motivation out of it for me. hopefully there's still a new bike on the horizon for me, but alas, it won't be soon enough for the fun july TDF challenge. good luck all.
Don't your kids have bikes? Ride one of them. Your pal, - The Evil One P.S. Take pictures.

Lol - Lyssa of course its no problem... i know how much you LOVE your current bike

You just keep running and swimming, Im sure a bike will turn up soon!

I'm assuming it's still open for sign up???? If so, put me down for 9 stages. Do I need to quantify miles/time or is that cool? I have a race this month and haven't really looked at training beyond that, but I do know I like to ride.

Ok here is my suggestion - set a goal mile/time based on your training up to the race and then we can adjust it up afterwards when you know how you are feeling... is that cool?

I'm in for 9 hrs and 9 stages

not sure I totally have my head wrapped around the stages, but I'm sure it will make sense by the time July is over -

Well... I promised to help you learn about the Tour so it will come eventually!

In case anyone is unsure - Yes! I am still taking signups through this week and as Ive stated teams will be announced Thursday PM/Friday AM (USA time) which gives everyone 24 hours to check Ive got their goals correct and make any last minute adjustments!

Long live team Agritubel!

I will be shuttling my worldly possessions between NY and OH for the entire month of July but I must get my riding in and there is not better way than a TdF challenge.

7 stages, 75 miles or bust.

After a couple of months hiatus from challenges, I back in. I CAN'T miss the TdF challenge!

Based on my current training plan, please put me down for 10 stages and a total of 360 minutes (6 hours).

As for teams, I'm fine with anything, but would love to be back with some of my former challenge buddies like Yanti, Beth, Judi, etc.

Thanks, Cat!

Cat, just keep me away from that Silence Loto team. Dirty tricks, just downright dirty. And I suppose you're on that cruddy team.

Hopefully it's not too late to sign up because I'd like to get in on this.  Can you put me down for 9 stages and 540 minutes? I'd try for more but I have a vacation in Hawaii planned the 13th-21st, pretty sure I can find a bike there to ride , but don't know if I'll have the time.  Thanks!

No team preference.

I'm in for this challenge.  I still need to work out the details, but I'm thinking  12 stages & 250 miles.  OMG, it's been like February since I've done a challenge.   TOO long!

Ok, I'll bite.  I want to crack 100 miles this month (I know, small change for most of you, but major distance for me) and I plan to do it in 6 'stages'.

I'm in.  Need to get my rear back in gear, especially with my first tri coming up on the 27th of this month (eeps!).

My goal is 10 stages for a total of 450 minutes.

And no offense to the folks wanting Team CSC, but I'll take anything but that   I actually work for CSC, so you can understand that I want to be as far from work when I'm on my bike as possible!

If there is still room I am in.

Just wanted to make sure I had this correct.

I have 13 rides scheduled between 5 July and 27 July (actully have a tri on 27 July)

Do I count the 5th and 27th in my total? If so.

Total Time = 13 hours 25 minutes.

So 13 Stages, 13hours 25 minutes.

As far as team, would prefer not be on CSC.

I have looked at my training plan and I will only be able to do 9 stages and 400k. My marathon training will hurt my biking this month

But I will be there to support the team, go CSC
