Pre-race routine:

set up. rode about half a mile on my bike. talked to the bear and his family. then had to tell some guy that he had racked his bike over my stuff in my spot so he got mad and started telling everyone that some jerk kid kicked him out of his spot in trasition. granted i was the third person to set up in trasition.
Event warmup:

rode my bike and walked around

good swim but I broke the number one rule in Tri's. I used a new pair of goggles i had never swam in before. they leaked and i had to swim with only one eye.
What would you do differently?:

make sure i try the goggles before i use them in a race.

Comments:

dont know my exact time because they didnt post it in the race results.
What would you do differently?:

nothing except maybe put my towel in the front of my bike where my helmet is. and practice jumping on the bike.

Hey, I had the flu all last week, up to and including race day. Plus you had the faster red bike!

Cool

Great race, fifth overall is smokin! You're liable to win one of these suckers if you keep improving.

Great job...those are some really good splits. That patch of road was really bad; I could barely hold on to the drops. My time wasn't nearly as good, but I had a great time. I'll be sure to get a race report up soon.
