Comments:

This was interesting. I had on layers upon layers. The winds were howling, so even though the temp was 20 degs., the wind chill was a -10. Between the headwinds, the cold and the hills, it took a good 2 miles to fall into a rhythm. We had a beautiful light snow for the first mile or so, but then the sun peeked out a couple of times, so that downwind I felt like I was overheating. Removed my gloves to cool off.
Post race
Warm down:

Hot cider and whole wheat nut bread. Hey, it was free!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Strong head winds and bulky clothing.

Event comments:

The turnout this year was smaller than last year, due to the weather, I'd say. We probably had about 150 participants. I was in the top 20, but didn't stick around for overall results.
