Pre-race routine:

Got up at 5:30 when I got a call from my daughter telling me I better get there soon since it was taking them a long time to get parking, I ate a banana that morning. I get nervous so I don't eat much on the day of a race. I did have a pasta dinner the night before.

I hadn't worked out in the last 1 1/2 weeks. I think I had given most of what I had but didn't quit.

Train more on running. Going from a bike to a run work outs.

Taking off my wet suit suit, headwind and rain I was using a diver's wet suit.
