Nik123,

I cannot believe how much you misread/misunderstood my post, but I will not go any further in explaining my post.

Wow...OK, I was enraged, and then after reading more, felt better.  Situation resolved in my opinion. My donation will be forwarded Friday (pay day) and, as a CdA house co-inhabitant, I too am OK with Baggyman.  I do wish things were handled differently, but as Shannon said, we are a forgiving bunch.  Sometimes life comes at ya hard.  I've pulled away from people and not cared about the results too.  Bad idea...but sometimes you just can't wrap your mind around handling just one more small thing...no matter how "that was easy" it could have been.

I hope Baggyman's situation gets better soon.  And I think BTers ROCK!!!  Thanks to everyone who donated...most especially to those who weren't even there!!

Wow, guys, I'm just floored.

The generosity of this place is unbelievable. Looks as though this somewhat unusual situation has been resolved and it's the best outcome I ever could have imagined.

  • I will be repaid
  • it seems as though baggyman will be able to form a divorce support group Surprised
  • ALS (Team Blazeman) will get a donation
  • BT'ers across the US and Canada & beyond will have done a good deed.

The whole thing is karmically sound. I just can't believe how awesome you all have been. I'm speechless. Thank you thank you thank you.

Guess that means the Paypal account works ok.

Glad it all worked out, Laura.

I'm curious to know how much is going to ALS.  I sent money as well, so hopefully it got there.

Yay!

When God gives you lemons...... ( you know the rest ).....   :D

Seriously, this is another example of how much BT rocks.  I'd like to sincerely thank everyone, even Baggyman.  We (individually) have rough times, but when the chips are down, we (collectively) pull together.

I was upset when Baggyman did show up to race but did not have the courtesy to send a simple PM or visit the house to explain his situation. After reading his story it all makes sense.

I have been there (minus the kids), I know how much a divorce lawyer can cost, but going trough the whole ordeal the only thing that helped was a very close group of friends, including some in BT.

I am sorry about what Baggyman is going trough, I hope things get resolved soon for him. However, that is not excuse for ignoring his obligations or commitments, specially when he actually raced.

I have sent a donation, not to pay for Baggyman's share, but to make sure Laura does not carry this financial burden.

PS... BT house rocked... This was my first time in one of these and I am just amazed of how awesome everybody was.

Laura... thanks once again... Love the experience and I am looking forward to another BT house experience in the future minus the baggyman incident.
