Subject: aero helmet???
Ok, I bought an LG rocket air at the beginning of this season to use for my sprints and time trials. I'll be doing my first HIM in October and am trying to decide if I'll wear it or not. The upside of course is possible time savings from being aero, but the downside being overheating due to lack airflow. Are the time savings worth putting up with the heat, or should I just sport my roadie? Thanks!

I wore my Advantage 2 for IMKS 70.3 this year and had no problem with overheating.  If you have it, I think it's worth the time gain to wear it.

Go out and ride with it in the heat and find out and then wear it in your race. Simple.

I wear the same helmet and honestly never noticed it being any hotter than my regular road helmet.

If its too hot dont wear it but chances are you will be fine. Have you ever overheated on the bike before? If the answer is no, I dont think you will have a problem, esp with a rocket AIR. Think of AIR as cooling system
