Swim
Comments: Much better swim this time. Spend first 200m or so relaxing and getting into a groove. Sighted well. Breathed on both sides. Finished strongest position yet for this leg. What would you do differently?: Still need to work on form and comfort. Transition 1
Comments: No problems with T1 What would you do differently?: Still need to learn to start with shoes clipped on Bike
Comments: Good bike. Felt like I applied force evenly and strongly through race. Had one mishap in leaving the road while in aero. Luckily stayed up and able to get back onto the road. What would you do differently?: Need to continue working on endurance and force for this leg Transition 2
Comments: No big issues What would you do differently?: Work on getting off the bike faster Run
Comments: Still had issues with calf cramping at early part of run. Probably need a bit more electrolyte on bike. The gatorade I had was a bit too diluted. What would you do differently?: Work on electrolyte balance and picking up the pace Post race
Warm down: Cool down What limited your ability to perform faster: Run speed Event comments: Good Last updated: 2008-01-27 12:00 AM

Up at 5:00, snickers marathon to get some energy stores and water. Reset alarm. Up again at 5:50, more water and another snickers marathon. Dressed and packed equipment up. Take off to event.
45 minutes before start, rode bike at high cadence, low speed to loosen legs and warmup. Rode for about 15 minutes, changed into running shoes and ran for about 15 minutes. Got into the water, but didn't need to acclimate as it was warm 86F.
