Pre-race routine:

Up at 5 a.m., very excited. Did not sleep well. PB and honey on WW bread at 6:30, banana at 7:30, water up until race time. 2 shot blocks at 8:40.

Took about halfway before I found my rhythm. Swallowed a lot of water and couldn't get away from people. After I rounded the 2nd bouy, space opened up and I really kicked it to the end.
What would you do differently?:

Figure out what drafting is. Work on rounding bouys.
