Subject: 2008 Jackson County Triathlon
Can someone shed some light on the subject, please. I don't know if I understood KLM's website correctly.
Are they changing the race date for the race from 08/24 to 08/23?
Is online registration still open, as on one page indicates it closing on 04/29/2008?
Anybody had experience not being able to pick up race packet before the race? I am out of town entire week and come back for race. As they don't allow packet pick up by anybody else, do they ever make any exceptions, according to their site absolutely no race packet pick up outside the given dates and times?
I sent the email to them, but they usually don't respond.
Just got done racing Midwest Mayhem. What a beautifull venue that was.

I was literally just looking at the same thing.  I am pretty sure that the race is the 23rd now instead of the 24th.  No idea when it changed.

What made you guys think it was changed to the 23rd???? Is there some other information out there? The official web site does say the 24th...

I contacted Bill Marshall. The site was showing some info wrong and it got corrected. The link to Jackson County tri was showing correct date 08/24 but when you enter the home page and race info, late registration pages, two things were wrong. First it showed that online registration was closed on 04/29/2008. It also showed that the race was on 23rd intstead of 24th.
Bill clarified all of it, online registration is open, race is on the 24th. Hope this helps.
On a different note, what a beatifull race venue was Lone Star Lake. It was hot too, but I enjoyed it very much. I had no clue this place was so pretty.
