After seeing all these bikes, I just walked over to mine and kicked it! I also kicked myself.

And not at all worth the $$$

That's debatable. BMC makes fantastic bikes but they don't market like Trek and Specialized do.

I am proud to say I know Brent Ruegamer very well. He's a local bike designer/mechanic here in Scottsdale. I have seen this machine close up as well as his other creations. Very talented guy.

Don't they have one up on the wall at Tribe?

Yeah this bike is hanging up on the wall above the shop at Tribe Multisport. Reug also made a race legal bike that weighed less then 10LBS! They usually have some type of off the wall bikes there. Right know I know he has a Doudle Disk (front and back) bike sitting out.

Well I have owned a few of them and I can personally say that they are not worth the $$$.

I bet I'd win the race on this:

Oh. Wrong kind of bike....

Hey, being able to recognize that bike from just a small section won me a pretty interesting picture from Regimom.

Do we want to know what he was looking at on his fingertip?

They airbrushed out the big stogey he was puffing on.

If they really aren't worth it, any particular reason why you ended up w/ a "few"?

BTW - the TT01 is a 100% custom bike (which is why it seems odd there are supposed modules sitting in a shop for sale -- even if there are, no one is going to buy it unless it fits spot on, since this guy really can't be adjusted up front). It takes a day to get fitted, and another 2-3 months to get the module. Yes, there are other custom bikes out there, but the TT01 is an amazing dream tt ride. Obviously, $15K seems outrageous for a bike, but so does $500 for a pair of bike shoes, $250 for a bike helmet, and $100 for a friggin water bottle cage...

#1 paid for, #2 factory replaced, #3 was a road bike and wasn’t really all that bad.

There are some things that can be adjusted on the bike (i.e the stem, seat post etc....) to be honest, I don’t know how “custom” it really is… Can you imagine what the cost of mold would be? It has to be to a lot more than $16K. I was told that the molds for the new Specialized Transitions cost 50K each and they reuse them mathematically it doesn’t make sense to me.
