Subject: RE: Am I a bad fan?? Sharkie - 2008-07-26 8:59 AM So I don't have 3-6hrs A DAY to watch TDF coverage.. So I have recorded on my DVR all stages of the race and then watched them later at night after I'm home from work.. I have a nightly routine.. Watch 10-15 min of pre stage coverage.. fast forward and look for crashes and big breakaways.. I play it for 2-3 min every so often to see where the leaders are and who the players on in breakaways or who is falling behind.. then i watch the last 10k of the race and the podiums.. I did actually stop and watch several of the big climbs this week.. marveling at how easy the pros make it look.. I'm feeling guilty for not waching the race as it unfolds and 'cheating' by FFWDing to the final 10K.. Should I be ashamed of myself??? You're a disgrace to TdF fans everywhere. Of course I'm just kidding. If that's what your schedule allows you to watch, then by all means, just watch the highlights. For example, in yesterdays stage, you could have tuned in the last 5 minutes and not really missed anythiing. For me, I need to watch as much as possible to get my fix. I'm an addict, and the only cure is more TdF. You're a fan and that's great. Just sit back and enjoy what you can. Edited by crazylegs 2008-07-25 8:01 PM
