Expert  1144    Kansas City, MO |  Subject: and baby makes three!!!So, my dear wife (onephathippo) came and tackled me at 5:00 am this morning after having been up since 4:30. I had no idea what she was doing, but it was getting irritating, as I don't get up until 5:30. Anyway, she jumps on me and says "wake up, daddy!"!! I was a little confused at first, but then it hit me... I'm going to be a daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It turns out she tested positive on a home pregnancy test this morning!!! She will go see her doctor on August 29 to get an update and an official due date, but preliminary calculations has it near April 5. As you can imagine, we're very excited, as this will be our first baby and we've been trying for about 7-8 months. Your thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy will be greatly appreciated! |

I'm not sure how keen my wife will be on letting COJ decide on the baby's name or not, but we'll see. As for the gender of the baby, we are going to find out so that we can plan accordingly in the nursery. |
