Subject: Training Day?
So this Sunday there is a training day for the short sprint triathlon that I'm doing next weekend (first tri-wahoo!!!). So is it worth the drive to go and check out the course and practice??? What exactlly goes on during a training day? I've been told that it'll only actually last 2-3 hours though.

If it's your first tri, I would definitely recommend going. It will give you the opportunity for more OWS practice and allow you to familiarize yourself with the course. Also, the coaches will probably give you some pointers for the swim, maybe transitions, go over some rules, etc. And, you can meet other first timers; you'll appreciate seeing people on the course that you know.

Have fun, and good luck at your first tri !!!

If you can get a lay of the land before the race, then you reduce any "surprises" come race day.  If you can go, do it.  Wn't hurt.
