I didn't use one - of course I didn't have one at the time either,

The air was REAL cold, but the water felt wonderful when I got in.

All the pros had them on.

The water was near the limit for not wearing wetsuit, if I remember correctly.  I wore one.  Outside of the water, during lineup, everyone was freezing.

I don't remember seeing a pro with a wetsuit on at US Open.

I remember putting on my wetsuit just so I could stay warm while waiting for my wave.

I just scanned thru the men's Pro photos from last year.  I didn't see any wetsuits there.

Don't pro's have a lower limit to wear a wetsuit than age groupers? If I'm not mistaken last year the pro's were under the limit but age groupers were over. I remember wearing one for the first time in this race last year but didn't necessarily need one. Though it was nice while standing around before hand.

UGH! i did not have one and it was then and there i decided if i ever stopped racing, competing in, doing triathlon, i would set up a wetsuit booth at the start of every tri no matter the distance for pple to purchase wetsuits. i would've given my left arm for one that day standing around. i was the 2nd to last sprint wave to go off and the oly's went first. so you can imagine how long i stood around freezing. water felt great, but by that time i was so miserable i wanted to call it a day and get a ride to t2. argh. bring one. if only to keep warm during the wait time!!!
