I am getting pretty bored in the pool and ended up checking out the TI book from the local library.

Should I stick to my current swimming plan or run through the lessons in the TI book and possibly come out better in the end?

Any thoughts?

If going thru the lessons will subside the boredom, why not? As you stated, you may come out better in the end.

TI will never hurt your training. Anything you can do to keep swimming interesting is a good thing. Believe it or not mixing some doggie paddle in to your workouts will help your swimming. I do a lot of sculling when I swim, I don't go very fast but what a great workout.

Have fun!!

Bob, your sculling is still probably faster than most people's all out sprinting .......

I had some problems with bone spurs in my neck during the last off season.  It was a great time to relearn how to swim, using TI.  TI really helped me unlearn my bad habits and improve my form.
