I don't know why but this week I am so totally psyched about training its unreal. Perhaps its because after reading some books and magazines I'm going to start to add some structure to my training. But I just can't wait to get in the pool this afternoon and do some drills...

Nothing like a little reading to re-inspire you. I do the same. Keep it up! Take care not to overdo it though. My trainer is always reminding/warning me of this point. She doesn't want me to get hurt or burned out.

Everyday I look at my boys, I think to myself how I want to be around as they grow up. I do not want them to think of me as a couch potato. My original inspiration came when my eldest son(7) said, "Daddy, are you sitting in your chair watching TV again?" This happened about Christmas time. My New Year's Resolution was to make a better me.

I love my children, my wife and family and I want to be there for them as I/they get older. I have stumbled along the way, but when I am in need of inspiration, I just come here. You people here inspire me whenever I read your blogs, your stories, your issues. I know that I am not alone.
