Regardless of which way you go, you'll have a HOT looking bike! (...though I voted red/black...)

Gotta ask?

why fugi.

I've been researching 'til I'm blue in the face about all the diff. bikes. I too am close to purchasing.

I have nothing of the viability of its aerodynamics. they say they have them but I can find nothing. And the way the top of the rear triangle is shape it actually lokks like it wouls no be aero at all except for a lift affect.

Also for the price its on the heavy side.

If your buying on looks than ...no doubt  it is bad !

Just wondering

i saw matt this past weekend on his fuji and that color scheme looks sweet in person all built up. if you have nice race wheels they look unreal on that thing. when i saw his bike, i couldnt believe how good it looked in person. i wasnt sure about the color scheme, but now theres no way i'd go with anything but the matt reed edition.

I ended up buying the complete bike.  Right now you have to buy the complete bike for the red one and the white one.  You can only buy the frame in the matty reid addition.  So the wheels on there are the Reynolds Strike DDV 66mm wheels. I've been training on this race wheelset, but am planning to switch out to my other set of Mavic Aksium wheels to train on.

My first bike was a specialized and it was a good bike.....My second bike and on have been fuji bikes.  They are a great company to work with and there bikes are just as good as any out there but don't run as expensive.  Now i know the D6 is pretty expensive, but i know several dealers and none of them would sell this bike at MSRP.  I know Fuji has given them an even better deal on these bikes to help them keep the price down.  I haven't seen any actual numbers about the wind tunnel either, but it can't be that bad if matty had such a good split on it.

I know its the engine.....but if the bike were so un-aerodynamic then he wouldn't have done so well.  All i know if that they are a great company with very good quality bikes and this D6 is smokin fast!

Black absorbs sunlight, which heats the substrate (the bike frame). The increased heat of the substrate heats the surrounding air. Warm air is less dense than cooler air, therefore it imparts less friction to objects passing though it. Less friction = more speed.

Ergo, black bikes are fastest.

Unless you ARE Matt Reed, don't get the Matt Reed model. That’s my feeling. But then, I think it’s weird when I see grown men walking around in football or hockey jerseys with a player’s name on the back.

I would take this bike even if it only came in pink with green polka-dots. The frame looks sweet and
I love Fuji bikes. I like that they can keep their prices reasonable by not paying cycling stars tons of  money to tell me that I should pay extra for their bike.
