Subject: New to Albuquerque

Hi folks - just moved from Virginia to Albuquerque and wondering if there are any tri training groups or (formal or informal) in the city. Looking to meet some folks to train with.

Hey Tommy, welcome to Albuquerque. I can't speak for everyone, but I hope you love this city as much as most.

I am going to follow this post as I am new to the sport and am looking for the same as you (tri clubs.) I do know of one based in Los Alamos called TriAtomics. Some have told me, that they train all over, not just in Los Alamos.

Thanks Dennis - just finding training partners would be cool. Thanks for the post. I've done tris for five years and am just finishing my first foray into coaching. It's gone well. There seem to be some active BT triathletes right here in ABQ, so there should be some opportunities to meet some folks here.

Welcome to NM! I belong to the New Mexico Outlaws and there's training rides/runs every weekend. There's quite a bit training for IMAZ right now. Go to www.outlawstriathlon.com to see what we're all about.
