Can't wait to hear your report next year.  I am thinking about doing it in 2010 as I spent many of my childhood years there and still have family there (read free place to stay).  Should be a great course, I ran many races on the Boise greenbelt.

Yes, I'm signed up as well. Looking forward to the 2pm start time they're having for next year and perhaps not so much looking forward to what sounded like very cold water.

Yeah Lucky Peak will definitely be cold. I did a race on July 12th though without a wetsuit and it wasn't all that bad. It should be ok with a wetsuit. Plus they made it 2 weeks later so the water should be a little warmer. Now I just hope it's not a freakish 100 degree day.

I'm in. This is going to be my first HIM, and it was between this and Lake Stevens, which is only 20 minutes from my mom's...but I liked BOISE's elevation chart a heckuva lot better!

I am in again

I like the 2 week push back for water temp but hope it isn't too hot on the run.

I'm in too! The run should be great. Boise doesn't get terribly hot in June. And the greenbelt is great too.

Was this a wetsuit swim this past year?

Yup, I pulled the trigger the day registration opened.  It'll be my first HIM.

I'm still skittish about the start time, but what the heck?  I figure on focussing my run training to evenings in the spring to try to adjust.  We train for everything else, I figure I can train for a time change as well.
