Comments: started off close to the front. Wasn't sure if I had it in me for a PR but decided to start off hard and try to hold on. Hit the 1st mile at 8:01 missing my fastest mile ever by 2 seconds. I've run this course for a lot of training runs so I knew exactly where to cut the corners to gain as much time as possible. Slowed a bit on mile 2 coming in at 8:30. Picked the pace back up for mile 3 and kicked in strong for the final stretch. It was a good thing I didn't have anything for breakfast or else it would have been over somebody's shoes :) What would you do differently?: Nothing at all ![]() Post race

Got up around 6:30 Rode my bike the 6 miles down to the race start and got registered and changed.
6 mile bike ride and 1 mile run with some strides
