Yes, I have an endurance planet interview around here somewhere.

How long does it take to change legs in transition?
It takes a good couple of minutes.  My transitions times are way at the bottom end of the transition time distribution.  Changing a leg is something you don't want to rush, especially for longer races because it can cost time later if you have to stop and readjust something.

Do you swim 'legless'?
Yes.  There are such things as swim legs but they would not be legal in a triathlon because it is like one big fin.  I already beat most of you guys in the water anyway, so I wouldn't want anyone to cry unfair advantage.

How do you get from water to T1?
The race I did the other weekend had a pool swim, so I just put my running leg by the swim exit, plopped out of the water, put on the running leg, ran out to T1, changed into my bike leg, and off I went.

My first race back was a lake swim with a long, uphill hike to T1.  I just had my coach and teammate carry me up the hill, which is legal by USAT PC rules.  Put on the bike leg in T1 and go.

Deanna - Thanks for posting.  You're amazing to say the least.  You've come to mind quite often through my HIM training when I was thinking that times were tough.  I'd think about you and just put my head down and keep training.  I'm so glad to see that you are still doing what you love and kicking butt at it.  Way to go, girl!!

WOW, just WOW.

It is crazy how "high tech" each leg is, and how each preforms different from the next. I knew there were running "legs", but the leg with the computer chip is super high end. Thanks for sharing!!

Deanna, so good to hear from you again. You are the epitome of HTFU and you are such an inspiring person.

Also, does this constitute as "Leg Porn" or something? LOL

Cool prosthetics!

I just read through the historical thread (all 22 pages of it). You are an inspiration.

The legs look really cool. I think the technology surrounding prosthetics is so amazing.
