Pre-race routine:

Had a good breakfast at the hotel, then head early to the site to get a nice spot in the transition zone. Slept not that good at the hotel, was nervous that the alarm wouldn't work :p

Ran about 1.5km before the start and stretched a bit.

Comments:

I still have to practice that run without shoes etc thing. One day I will get better :) I forgot my elastic lace, and it did cost me at least 30 sec. also my helmet and stuff was on the ground when I came back to the bike which didn't help

What would you do differently?:

I need to train hills more to be able to get some good speed on that kind of course.
Transition 2
  • 01m 6s
Comments:

Once again I didn't have my lace whih cost me some times. Also my gear was really wet and was harder to put on.
What would you do differently?:

Not forget my lace :p

  • 3 kms

Comments:

My legs were tired from the bike and my right knee did hurt a lot during the second running part. Let hope the doctor will know what's wrong with it when I see him monday.
What would you do differently?:

Try to keep more kick for the last leg and be able to run under 5 m/km
Post race
Event comments:

The bike leg was a bit hard for me, but I will train more in hills for next year and it won't be a problem anymore :)
