well, almost. i was spinning away on the trainer last night when my fiance came home. her dog, as usual, started racing around. the dog always does this. the dog is also very good around the trainer. well, her brains must have gotten a bit scrambled with the separation anxiety relief and i felt a thump at the rear of the bike and the dog started whimpering. turns out she had gotten a front leg into the spokes. off to the vet we go at $75 to open the door. the leg didn't look too bad, just a couple of shallow cuts and some bleeding, didn't look broken. sure enough, no fractures and a couple of stitches later we were on the way home with a bright pink bandage and funnel on the neck. cyndi and i couldn't stop laughing when the dog came out looking like that. i will try to post a picture here later. good news is everyone is ok. bad news, i only got half of my workout in. the dog owes me 30 minutes!
