So my dad is coming to town this weekend and he needs a ride to Show Low (I’m not going to check out Nathens, sniff, sniff ). Since I’m up there, I figured I would at lest get some mountain biking in. My question is:

Does anyone know of any good trails in the Show Low / Lakeside / Pinetop area? I’ve read a few reviews online, but was hoping for some input from people around here.

My girlfriend and I both ride hardtails and are at a “moderate” skill level. Any help would be great.

Porter Mountain.

I wanna go!  We have a bunch of family up there, and I love that area.  Porter Mountain is pretty cool though.

Check out the trail maps for the Tour of the White Mountains race @ epicrides.com  They have a few distances to pick from.

I think Los Burros is supposed to be one of the best rides in that area.

I'll try and remember to bring my guide book to OWS tonight.
