Comments: Started out very slow, was super crowded in a narrow running path. What would you do differently?: Get better sleep the night before, and actually train for this. Post race
Warm down: Drank some water and 2 beers, had some fruit and a partial sandwich. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training, slightly humid and hot, lack of sleep. Event comments: I was subbing in for my dad who suffered a hamstring injury at the last minute. Wasn't expecting to run 10k and wasn't fully trained to do it, plus the 4 hours of sleep on top of my watch being dead unbeknownst to me, I think I did okay. The parking at the beginning was a bit of a cluster... but we made it ok and I got my bib and t-shirt. Last updated: 2008-09-19 12:00 AM

Ugh... only got 4 hours of sleep, was terrible. Watch was dead and I didn't know.
