The water was a lot cooler than what I train in and it seemed to make a big difference. I didn't feel as worn out. It was actually enjoyable.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really.
Transition 1
  • 02m 7s

Still can't jump on bike while pushing it. Have to stop to get on. Had a little trouble getting clipped in, but no biggie.

My watch showed 10:30 in the pool. I guess it took me another 25 secs to get to the pad.
What would you do differently?:

Just need to get faster.

Shins knotted up again. Was able to run 5 min and walk 1 for most of the way.

Cool finish coming in with Luke.
What would you do differently?:

Just run more.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around. Drank water and gatorade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Probably my wieght and lack of training for the run.

Nice job Brian.  Your swim and run times got considerably faster.  Looks like you were able to cut 3:30 minutes off of your Super Sprint pace.  See you Saturday morning if ya'll are riding.  Are you still planning on going to Plano.  That's sounds good to me.
