Swim
Comments: A long swim... According to all the Borizones, it was about 4 minutes long. It seemed longer than 400... Also, a long run from the shore to T1... Sand was soft and run is about 1/4 mile... This time was added to the swim... What would you do differently?: Do the Duathalon... Transition 1
Comments: A good T1... Fast and easy... Not too bad with sand in my feet... What would you do differently?: Nada Bike
Comments: I wish I would have gone faster, but I haven't really trained in 3 weeks.. What would you do differently?: Have a more controlled swim... Transition 2
Comments: A slow T2... I shudda bought speed laces for my Newtons... Instead, I had to tie the laces- which really aint that bad cause you get to catch your breath... Still a slower than desirable T2... Run
Comments: What can you say about a sprint run in 90 degree weather??? It's like a Marathon.... Balls to the wall with my HR at 200+... I was glad I broke the 8 Min/Mile barrier. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Not training since Ironman and eating like a horse...... Event comments: Fun times at this sprint... I hadn't done a sprint in ages... It was super cool to race with ALL my friends and see them spank it- including Keeks who raced today for the first time in ages.... Fun Fun Fun... Last updated: 2008-09-21 12:00 AM
