The website mentions "numbered athlete clothing bags will be transported to Transition 2".  Anyone tell me if we(the participants) provide those gear bags or are they part of the race packets?

I used my personal bag last year. However I do believe if I remember correctly that they will give you a extra "standard type of packet bag" to use if you don't have an extra. Just be sure to attach your numbers they give you to it and pack all of your stuff up from T1 before you leave. ie. don't bring a bunch of crap to T1 otherwise your transition time will look like you set up camp and spent the night.

Its really neat to do a point to point. There is a certain sense of accomplishment you don't get with other races, especially when you sit on the bus the whole way out to the lake.

I used a gym bag last year.  They did provide a plastic bag but I used a wetsuit and it fit easier into the gym bag.

What they said. I had a gym bag that I used to carry all of my stuff for the swim and bike (goggles, cap, helmet, shades, nutrition, etc.). Just put the numbered tags they give you on the bag, and it'll show up at the pickup at AAC.
