The last time I did this was freakin hot as hell and I did poorly. So why dont they just change the course. Have the same swim change the bike course from where we exit onto BJC road and instead of making a left we have T1 in that area and have out and back run course? there are still some go trials for running back in those parts. I would just hate for us to lose an Xterra |

I was doing the meeting for Durapulse Perfromance Co., our volunteers were on the run course. In talking to the RD, David, and the police representative, one of the the problems was that the course crossed an active road down by the Marina. It's on that hill and is a bit of a blind area and cars come whipping through there. |

Problem solved! My understanding was that was a real possibility. They put bike lanes on McDowell Mountain Rd. between Fountain Hills and Rio Verde and a beaut of a lane on the BeeLine from the casino to the turn off for the lake. I would love to see a better lane on Usery/Powerline and while they are at it, one on Dynamite. |

It is actually in the works. They are supposed to be extending the bike lane to Saguaro Lake in the next year. Well, that was before the State Gov't put a hold on all ADOT projects over $50,000. Don't know how much it was supposed to cost. You should also call or mail Mr. Counts your complaints about ADOT not cleaning the bike lanes after the monsoons roll through. |
