Subject: Another swim wave questionI have my first tri coming up in 2 weeks, a sprint, and its self seeded.
In the race packet they ask that I seed myself in a way so as to hopefully minimize passing on the bike portion....
I am a pretty okay swimmer (I hold my own in the fast lane at the pool, have OWS experience but definitly am not front of the pack swimmer ).
BUT I am also a former Cat 3 road competitor, and tend to be fairly aggressive on the bike.
Better to deal with the thrash fest that I understand is the earlier waves of the swim to not have to deal so much with passing, or go in the newbie wave and spend the 15 miles passing people? (FYI I hold a 20-21mph solo average on the bike )
